North Branford, CT.- The South Central Premier (SCP) Soccer Club has announced that it will be hosting an open house during the month of September. SCP is centrally located in Connecticut at their new home at CT Sportsplex North Branford, CT. The ultimate goal at SCP is to foster a "love of soccer" and to help each player develop the life skills and character traits necessary to succeed. SCP is looking to fill some available positions on a few of our teams. During September SCP will host an open house for any players interested in receiving some of the best training at one of the best facilities in the state. Come and check us out. Meet our coaches and players and attend an actual training session. Both boys and girls that play at the U-9 to U-14 levels are welcome to attend. Days and times will differ for age groups so please contact Sean Duffy for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Congratulations to our South Central Academy Program, who in a partnership with Beachside SoccerClub became BSC, which was named the Most Improved Club in the Eastern Conference in this year's Academy season.
This year was very successful. We fielded highly competitive teams in 3 age groups (U13-14, U15-16 and U17-18). Two boys were called up for U.S. National Team Training Camps, and several more are being actively tracked by U.S. Soccer staff. Almost 100 college coaches were on our sidelines at the U15-16 showcase in Indianapolis in June.
Great job by Brian Quinn and all the coaches and players. Well done boys!
Rising U13 Spirit Players Named to Region 1 ODP Pool
Congratulations to Erin Martin and Claire Mackenzie, rising U13 Spirit players, for being named to the Region 1 ODP U12 Pool. Erin and Claire participated in the ODP camp at URI in July and were named to the Region 1 ODP Pool at the closing ceremony. Only 5 U12 girls from Connecticut were selected during the ODP camp to join the pool. Erin and Claire will travel to Pennsylvania later this year to participate in additional ODP pool training.
