The Columbus Day Holiday weekend has long been established as a soccer tournament weekend and South Central Premier (SCP) took full advantage. SCP entered 8 teams into 4 different tournaments in Connecticut and New Hampshire, with half of them bringing home hardware for the trophy case. The U-13 Girls Surge team were crowned co-champions at the Soccer Club of Ridgfield Columbus Day Tournament, while their counterparts, the U-13 Girls Spirit team beat the host club at the CFC Columbus Day Classic to bring home the title. Meanwhile in Epping, NH. our U-11 and U-13 boys came up short in their final matches but both finished as runners-up at the Seacoast United Columbus Day Tournament with a combined record of 6-2-1. All the SCP teams represented our club with great enthusiasm, effort, support, and played some pretty impressive soccer. Well done by all players, coaches, managers, parents, and supporters. Congratulations on a great weekend. SCP STRONG.
